They drew 8 vials of blood for NIPT

They drew 8 vials of blood for NIPT is this normal?? The whole situation was really unsettling because the doctor said the lab woman was new and the lab woman who drew my blood was saying she was confused to me and reading out the instructions out loud on how to do it. And she left the tourniquet on my arm really tight while drawing blood for like 15 min and I was gagging and sweating and my arm turned purple and she didn’t even care at all . I’m probably never going back there !!
