Luteal phase pain

I have had menstrual type pains since 3/4dpo along with leg pains mainly in my lower legs (feels similar to growing pains).

Now 9dpo and just feel like my period is going to arrive and feeling really disheartened, the last 3 cycles I have had luteal phases of only 10 days. Does anyone know what pain during luteal phase could indicate? I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about. I don't usually suffer from painful periods.
