What would you do?

I lost my job a few months ago. I am trying so hard to find one, because I have my own bills to pay and I hate paying things late.

I have a job, but since it is a government job, I am going through background checks and so on. So I don't start for 6-8 weeks. But also trying to find at least a part time job before that.

Well my husband and I got into an arguement about something else but then he brought up my bills. His exact words were: I am done helping you with your bills, since he has some too, and if your bills go to collections, they go to collections. So as of now, I have 2 bills that are behind that are $850 put together. 😭

my dad told me that is a red flag because my husband should be helping in times like these. And asked me if i want my daughter growing up with someone who doesnt support his wife or children. We have been married for over a year, August 2014.

What do you all think? Would you help your spouse? Anything?
