Is it selfish?

Is it selfish to not want to have kids?? My husband and I were supposed to be ttc starting this year but we're both having second thoughts. I don't want to offend anyone. We just feel comfortable being the way we are now and would like to stay this way. I was also wondering if there is anyone who decided not to have kids just because you don't want to.
