When can i start early testing....?

I ovulated around the 28th i have 6 days until my period is due i took one today but neg.... what is the earliest day i could try again... i see so many ladoes with faints at just 8dpo makes me lose hope. Especially as i had very creamy milky cm i usually have stick between now and af but this different. Thought i may be in lyck then today boom it is just sticky😯
