Newborn with a cold?

My 2 wk old has a cold anyone else experience this when they came home?  I never did with my first one.

Yes, my 3 week old came down with one. Just use saline drops in the nose and suction everything out frequently. Not to scare you, but also make sure your baby's breathing isn't labored or fast. My daughter ended up having the RSV virus and she had to be admitted for a few days because she was having trouble breathing.

If you have a humidifer make a blanket tent over it and sit there with the baby or take them into the bathroom when you take a shower it helps with my babys congestion.

My baby is 2 weeks and he does. I took him to the dr to get checked for rsv to make sure it's just a cold. And he was negative thank God! They gave me a nebulizer and saline drops. The nebulizer works great to help him breathe better.

My guy had one at 3.5 weeks. I bought the hydra sense which has the saline and a nose sucker (the bulb never worked for him) and I had put a few blankets under his upper body to help incline him while he slept at night.
