I miscarried four weeks ago today (naturally, no d&c). My doctor said I could expect my period in about a month. Is it even possible that I could be pregnant at this point?! Or could it be lingering hormones from my previous pregnancy?

I mc on 4th August and was told to take a test on the 19th August - the test was negative. We carried on as normal and I'm now 11 weeks - we fell pregnant straight away!!!!  It can happen but would check with your doctor first x good luck and sticky baby dust x

It's very possible. I got pregnant after my first miscarriage (m/c at 7 wks) without a period in between. You're increasingly fertile after miscarriage. Best of luck! ?

Personally after my miscarraige my hormone levels went back to normal (I did 2 tests and got negative) :( but as people have said the hormones can stay around for weeks so unfortunately from a test there isn't a way to tell...UNLESS.. How about get a clearblue digital test? It indicates the weeks pregnant then and may be more accurate?

It could go either way. My hcg lingered for about 5 weeks after MC and I was getting positive pregnancy tests.

It could be possible. I had that happen with my first pregnancy. I had a miscarriage and then a few weeks later had pregnancy symptoms, tested and found out I was pregnant again. My obgyn said my miscarriage served as my period and I must have ovulated right after. Good luck!

Usually, hormone levels drop extremely quickly during & after a MC, within 4 days of my MC, I had an HCG level of <20 (which is undetectable on an HPT), I would proceed as if you were pregnant and make an appointment ASAP. Best of luck!

Did you ever get a negative after your miscarriage? If not, it could be left over hormones. I had my first negative around 2.5 week after my miscarriage but some women get positives weeks after. There is a possibility that you could be pregnant. If you can, wait a week to test again, if the line is darker you're definitely pregnant. If you can't wait a week, call your ob so they can check your hcg levels.
