Help! Have you gotten pregnant with 1 ovary?

Question

My husband and I stopped using condoms right after our wedding in April, and have been actively trying for 5 months and haven't had luck. I keep blaming myself because I only have 1 ovary due to a ruptured ovarian cyst when I was 12.

How long did it take you to get pregnant with one ovary? I'm wondering at what point I need to consult a fertility specialist. Baby dust!

My mom had one ovary removed and scarring on her cervix when she got pregnant with me. 😊 Hubby and I are both completely healthy, had all the testing.. all normal, and we've been trying for 8 months with no luck. It takes time, unfortunately. Stay positive! Good luck!!!! 💫✨👶🏼

Even healthy couples need up to 1 - 1 1/2 years to get pregnant. Please be patient. Your ovary is enough to get pregnant. Usually there is no significant lower fertility if you miss one ovary. Good luck! Babydust for you.
