Hormones after a MC

Kristina
I became pregnant ( while on the pill) late October / early Nov of last year. I sadly had a MC on Dec 30 right around 10 weeks and had a D C. With-in a day or two I had extremely heaving bleeding ( like couldn't even stand up because the blood would fill a pad in about 30 seconds, sorry tmi) and pain more terrible than I had ever experienced. I was taken to the ER and found out I was actually having full blown contractions. My body was trying to expel the blood and tissue in its mixed up and confused state. or that's how it was explained to me by the dr in the ER. Morphine in the ER didn't even touch the pain. My HGC levels were about 10,000, which was lower than they had been a few days earlier. Needless today the week following was filled with pain medication and was generally miserable for a multitude of reasons.
Since this experience my hormones have been wonky. However, I'm sure some of it is normal for having had a MC. Tons of randomly bursting into tears, gaining about 10 lbs, and a fair bit of extra anxiety and depression. Tons of stress as well! My boyfriend - who I had been with for a year(I'm  29 and he's 31 btw) had wanted me to abort the pregnancy and threatened to break up with me if I didn't. My plan was not to abort, and he was NOT happy. I got the impression he was rather relieved that I lost the baby when I did  :( . The day after I miscarried ( New Year's eve) I logged onto Facebook only to find I was single. Yes ladies, a 31 year old man breaking up with his girlfriend by changing his Facebook relationship status. The day after a MC at that. Loser! I'm telling you all of this because clearly - it's been a rough few months with extra emotional stress, hormones, etc.
So here is my issue. I'm attempting to track my cycle and figure out when my body will be back to 'normal' so I can look into getting back onto birth control.  Here at 8 weeks post MC I have had one rather light period. pregnancy tests are coming back negative- finally. However I've had positive ovulation tests for 7 days in a row now ! And I mean immediately turning up with two very bold lines. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?
