Mirena. SO relieved it's gone!!!

I had the mirena for about a year and a half and absolutely hated it. My Dr said that I would bleed/spot for the first couple months then my period would slowly fade....WRONG! I bled for 8....EIGHT months straight. Had to start taking iron pills. Dr said that everyone has different experiences and to wait it out. My side effects were: constant horrible hip pain to the point where I couldn't walk, absolutely no sex drive, mood swings like crazy, and periods that would last 2+ weeks. I've had it out now for about 10 days and am SO much happier without it. Anyone else have any similar experiences?
