Vaginal Discharge

Okay guys so I feel like my downstairs has a lot of discharge. It's like mucus and it always feels like my period has started because I'm cramping then I feel a drop. I go to the bathroom and either it looks like I hacked up a clear lougee (if that's how you spell it) or nothing has happened and when I wipe it's all a mucus consistency. I'm not sure if it's normal or not but it just makes me feel disgusting and not sexy at all. :/
