Missed period yesterday bfn today

My period was supposed to start yesterday and its still not here today. Took a test this morning with fmu & got a bfn...am I out? With my other 2 pregnancies I tested 4 days after missed period and got my bfp. But I never tried testing before then? Anyone get a negative around this time and then got a positive after? As for now I'm pretty just waiting in my period to show?
