am I being selfish

I'm late and I been ttc for 3 months.. period is late now, I don't want to take a test because I'm scared and I'm going out on Friday and I will eventually drink.. I'm scared that if I take a test now it'll come back positive and I'll miscarry again.. or go out Friday drink and take the test Sunday..
