Laparoscopic recovery??

Hello ladies! Wanted to ask everyone what their recovery time was after lap surgery?? My doctor told me only two weeks. True???

I had the surgery done Thursday and had ebdo removed, fallopian tubes flushed and appendix removed. I'm going back to work Monday and started moving around by myself yesterday. I guess it's just different for everyone. Your body will tell u if u do Too much. My doc told me I could go to work Monday though

3 weeks. I'm a teacher and did it over summer to recover. I never would have made it during year.

I had it done on a Thursday and was off till Tuesday. I went back to work but had to take a pillow with me and was very uncomfortable. Took me a full two weeks to feel semi normal. Tried to have sex after 10 days and had to stop. Was able to have sex fairly comfortably at about 17 days, I think.

I've had 2 surgeries.  The first just felt like I worked out too hard and was much easier to recover from.  The second I had my appendix removed and more aggressive removal of the endo...that took several weeks and stronger meds.  Best thing I ever did though!

It's different for everyone, they told me the surgery would only take about an hour maybe hour and a half tops, but it ended up taking about 3.5hours.. So i was pretty sore for avout 2.5 weeks..

It took me two weeks to feel capable of doing things by myself without anyone to help me out. 
And my surgeon told me three months before my insides are completely healed over. 
In regards to sex I had very gentle sex when I felt I was comfortable which was after three and a bit weeks.

It depends on the work done. My last surgery I had excision and my gallbladder out but my belly button got infected so I was off a month but I work at a hospital.

It took me a good 3 weeks to feel somewhat normal again  . went back to work after 5 days and that was veryvery foolish. take at least 2 weeks off of work
