How painful is sex for you with Endo?

The sex is fine. It's the part when we're done, it's like a achy feeling in my abdomen that creeps up on me but I can feel it coming. I end up sitting on the toilet rocking back and forth holding a hot towel to my stomach drinking some water.

Usually not that painful but it depends. I've had experiences where it's quite painful and not enjoyable at all.

It really depends on the position for me. And I think it's also related to the time of my cycle. Had my laparoscopy in October and I still find doggy style uncomfortable. Hope that helps you!

I can have times where it is fine.. but sometimes. Oh. My. Goodness. A few months back I was in such agony I was doubled over in pain and crying for 2 hours afterwards. Very frustrating and can be a complete mood killer. I've had 2 procedures. X

Before my procedure I found it painful. My pelvis would cramp up really bad and felt like a sort of stabbing pain and even sometimes when it felt fine during it I would have residual pain. We would have to stop straight away if I had pain during sex and it was really hard on our relationship for a little bit there because he was too worried he's hurt me and on one occasion he asked me not to kiss him because he didn't want to be worked up because he didn't want to have sex and risk hurting me. Though I understood his position completely and I love him for who he is and not the sex, I feel that without it our relationship lost a certain type of intimacy. 
I found that positions really helped. For instance even now after my procedure I'm in the healing stage (about 2 months I have to recover) so I'm still tender, but slow gentle sex on my back and with a pill under my lower back really helps.

It used to be really really painful but then I had a chocolate cyst removed and it was much much better
