" I have no idea what to do with a _____"

This may not be the most controversial topic on here but I'm curious. Does anyone else get super annoyed when people say "I have no idea what to do with a boy/girl!" It's always annoyed me when people stress about having to raise a girl even though they are used to boys or vice versa. My MIL always said it when my DD was born and it drives me nuts. Especially because she herself is a girl! Babies are fairly easy to please and even well into childhood they don't base their preferences of activities on whether its for a girl or a boy...
