D&C and insurance

I had my D&C last Friday after my body not even pretending to recognize my baby had stopped growing 4 weeks prior. Just found out my insurance isn't, in fact, going to cover it. It's almost $9,000!!! We were quoted $2000 from the hospital AFTER i had given them my info.... As if this isn't all stressful enough! I don't even have words. Any tips on dealing with them or if we can do payment plans or anything?
