    I was referred to IVF Florida by my OB back in January 2017. From the very beginning I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect. Every single person I encountered from the front desk staff, to the person who drew my blood, the entire nursing team, the doctors (I had the chance to meet 5 of the doctors - all excellent!), the surgical team (for the ER and FET) were all outstanding. Dr. Hoffman was my doctor and he is amazing. He will not sugar coat anything and will tell you how it is. He is very upfront with you and does not want there to be any surprises. I really appreciated his honesty. I have recently "graduated" from IVF Florida and I have to say I am sad to go back to my OB. The entire staff has become like family and has been there every step of the way. I wish Dr. Hoffman could delivery my little bundle of joy that he helped us create!

    This place has horrible reviews for a reason, the service is horrible from the reception all the way to the doctors. Called to make an appointment and had a receptionist named Ailyn asking personal health questions. When I asked if I can discuss with the doctor instead she threatened to cancel my appointment. The next day Dr. Barrionuevo was very unprofessional and condescending after being late to the appointment. Remember that ivf services are not covered by insurance, you are a customer and deserve to be treated with respect!

    This is the worst medical experience I have ever had in almost 40 years! . My first appointment was with Doctor Barrionuevo. Apart from the 1 hour waiting the doctor was very kind and explained the details of the possible treatment in a very clear way. I have also a test done, everything was good. I was told someone from the financial services will contact me . After a few weeks waiting for the call I called about 4 times before being contacted back. Before the financial call I had an appointment for and ultrasound. When I arrived I was told about another exam (genetics) that need to be done and a nurse took my blood for it. When I asked if that was covered by the insurance she didn’t know and said the financial service should provide me that info, I asked a second nurse and got the same answer. When the financials team called me they haven’t check at that point my insurance coverage. When I asked about the specific cost of the genetic test the lady explained this info needs to be provided by the nurses..., she offered to contact the nurses and write back to me (which never happened…). Today I had an appointment to do another test (HSG). I asked to see the nurse to get clarification on the cost of the genetic test. She explained to me this was done by an external company and only that company can provide me costs. I understood but told her I would have appreciate someone would have explain that to me before taking my blood (a day I was going for another test.). Also I would have appreciate not to be sent from one team to another to get that info. The nurse became frustrated, started looking angry at me, raising her voice telling me “this is the way it is” like I should know it….I was not blaming anyone, I was just pointing my frustration of not been provided the right info on time and the opportunity they have internally to better align the communication to the patients. But the worst started when I was called to the room to do the (HSG) test. I was asked to get in a little room , get half naked. When I tried to enter the next door for the test another patient was still having the test so I was asked to keep waiting in the little room for almost 10 minutes while hearing a lady (doing the same test I was about to get done) yelling and crying like she was been tortured. I, by any means , trying to say the pain was the fault of the medical team, I understand each person has a different condition or level of resistance. But when if finally was my turn I was scared, shaking, fearing the pain that could cause me the test. I told the team that it was a very uncomfortable situation and that I wished I haven’t heard those screams, I wish they would have made me wait in another place. The doctor there told me it was not common to have people yielding in pain that way. I told her I was very nervous and if it started hurting much to please stop, and she agreed. She started with the speculum and her first comment was “you are too tense, the speculum will break, you need to relax’’. Easier said than done. Not sure how they expected me to be relaxed after all I heard, so I told them I was done and to please stop the test. I got back to the toilet to get dressed up, and I left the room. On my way out I asked the reception lady to please give me a follow up appointment with Doctor Barrionuevo, After waiting for about 5 minutes I told her I was nervous (shaken) and I have been there for too long so to please call me when she had the appointment booked, her answer was "No, you will have to call the appointment center." I felt horrible, totally discouraged. In the afternoon I received a call from Doctor Barrionuevo, he wanted to talk to me about what had happened. I was shocked to hear apparently all the nurses have accused me to insult them, smashing doors, breaking a clothes box! So not only the whole experience was frustrating enough, and instead of have a bit of empathy they just made it worse inventing false accusations to cover themselves of a job poorly done. Doctor Barrionuevo told me that due the circumstances it was better for me to move to another clinic, he offered to send all the info he has on my case, and encourage me to keep going with my treatment somewhere else. I have nothing bad to say about Doctore Barrionuevo but the whole experience was horrible and traumatizing and very discouraging for me. I am sharing this long review as I hope the clinic can take it to improve certain points and to avoid anyone else has such a bad experience as I had.

    I went to Dr. B several years ago at the time I was engaged to my ex. I had heard so much amazing things about him and being diagnosed with PCOS I was told he specialize in the condition. Did all test required but never followed up due to relationship ending. Fast-forward 8 years later happily married to an amazing guy. Return back to IVF Florida to Dr. B in March 2018. Had to do a lot of test, husband semen analysis, and even surgery to remove over 10 polyps in the uterus. I was grateful and still am cause I never know I had them this was in June. Dr. B kept me on birth control from the very beginning (March) until about end of June. He added Metformin in July could not tolerate it at all push it for a month and a half. In Mid July followed up with Dr. B to make sure surgery went well then followed up with the nurse to make sure all my I’s were doted and all my T’s crossed and were ready to start trying. Nurse gave us the green light Dr. B instructed us to try on our on. August I did my OPKs on my own all negative never conceived cause I don’t ovulate (PCOS). We followed up in September (8am appt not seen until 10) just so happen to be on the 2nd day of cycle Dr. B said “ we can start treatment tomorrow let’s do IUI” but we opt to do time intercourse. Came in the next day for ultrasound and Femara was given. Now all of this could have been done the day before when I was there took the day off from work but noooo had to take a few more hours from work the next day. We did our first cycle with Femara 5mg cycle day 3 had a 22mm follicle timed intercourse but that cycle failed. October no cycle pray hoping I’m pregnant all test negative. Oct. 31st Provera given to start cycle this time cycle will be mini-stim cycle Femara 5mg on days 3-7 Wednesday shot of Gonal-F 75mg then IUI Sunday or Monday. That was the plan but it didn’t happen. Went in on Thursday 2nd day of cycle which the ultrasound tech counted as day one, nurse, and doctor counted as day 3 base on blood work and ultrasound. Nurse gives me the plan before leaving office then request recent pap. A pap that was taken in March a few day before seeing the doctor results given to one of the nurses before surgery. Now I’m being told without pap I cannot be treated. I was pissed I rushed home where I kept all medical record and brought it to them again. Nurse calls around 3pm tells me to start treatment of Femara. Nurse calls Friday requesting pap results from lab not GYN office summit through patient portal after 4pm. I’m still taking my medication as instructed. Monday morning receive message in the patient portal your pap is abnormal with high risk HPV did you have treatment or follow up with GYN. Advised nurse my new GYN want to repeat pap but can’t cause I am on my cycle ask would that be a problem with my treatment. She replied yes and that I should stop taking my meds after I had taken my last two pills that morning. OMG I could have killed someone. I couldn’t understand how they had my pap for months never requested the labs copy of result. I told them I had HPV with abnormal pap from the beginning how is this now an issue. I asked the nurse why is this an issue now she replied we requested these results repeatedly from you. I was pissed cause she was lying. If this was so important why would I not comply. I missed hours at work, time, energy, and MONEY!!!!!! Just to be abundant during my cycle. The nurse told me to follow up with my GYN and then return after being treated with a colposcopy. She said “ We want you to ha e a healthy pregnancy.” What I cant understand is how 2 months ago you allow me to treat and no ONE was concerned about it. I hate how unorganized they were and unapologetic about canceling my treatment. I will not return back to this clinic nor will I refer anyone I know. I will use Glow this time around.

    This is my second time TTC and I have been satisfied each time. Dr Ory is soooo awesome. He has never made me feel I was just a number. He sits and we talk like old friends. I had my first visit 9/1 since 2015. I am very hopeful that this will end in a new addition to our family.

    All members of the staff are friendly, and caring. We couldn't pick one person that was better than the other. Front desk, techs and nurses are the best here!

    My test results were not added to the patient portal every time. And sometimes felt I didn't get enough info from staff and had to ask a lot of questions. But my treatment was a success so can't complain there.

    It is easy to make an appointment. There is never a long wait time. Technicians, nursing, and staff are friendly in the jupiter office, not so much when you speak with someone at the 866 phone number. I never feel rushed and all of my questions are always answered.

    Little to no wait time and pretty easy to get an appointment that worked with my schedule. We've been seeing Dr. Hoffman and he is excellent! Very professional and honest. He was actually the first doctor to recommend a necessary surgery for endometriosis- something my gyno hadn't even mentioned! We have met a few other doctors and we feel like he is the first that is not out to make money off of us, he is willing to help us get our baby because he cares. Highly recommended.

    Mostly great experience. Caring staff. Only issue is u cannot directly call the clinic, have to call a main number and get transferred to your clinic location

    Be careful when going here and thinking all diagnostics testing is covered by your insurance, they swear by that and then you're stuck with the bills. Even if they say it is (they supposedly called my insurance co) your insurance might not cover anything fertility related. I'm stuck with a $5000 bill just for diagnostic testing. I didn't even do any treatment at all.. Be aware, all they want is your money!

    Although the whole experience is overwhelming, I am so happy to have two babies. The doctors are baby makers, and the nurses give all of the warm and fuzzies.

    The only thing I do not like is that you wait long to see the docs. The waiting room is always packed. Other than that, amazing docs & amazing staff!

    I'm one of those people who always needs a plan. I felt like this clinic did a great job with always keeping me informed of what the plan was and what the next steps were. I was expecting there to be a little hassle with scheduling and billing but to my surprise, everything went smoothly. The staff is all nice for the most part, too. Dr. Christie was a great RE and we're happy to have had him. I love that he's responsive to email and usually called back within a day. He was very smart and thorough with explaining things. I think the best part though was the fact that he is so calm and encouraging, which as you can imagine is really important during a stressful experience like this.
