Amazing experience. Started treatments immediately following my consultation. Three rounds of IUI and we we're pregnant! The Drs, nurses and staff at the Farmington office were amazing! We highly recommend UConn to anyone struggling with infertility.

Extremely welcoming and made us feel comfortable right from the start. Informative sessions with the APRN answered all of our questions from the very first visit. My wife and I went in unsure of what the process would be and we were walked through every step with 0 judgement.

My first retrieval was fine, no complaints. The second retrieval was a nightmare /horror show. They put stiches inside me without telling me and something went wrong that caused internal bleeding resulting in my being hospitalized. They canceled my follow up apt and told me that I didn't need one. The stitches never dissolved, when I called at 3 weeks, to ask about them, I was told to just keep waiting. my regular obgyn took them out for me after 4 weeks. 4 weeks later I am still in pain, but they won't see me for a follow up unless I want to do another retrieval. Nope, I am switching clinics.

So far we've had a great experience at CARS. They do a good job of preparing you for the fact that they take a team approach and you likely won't always be seen by your assigned physician or nurse. Thinking about any issue I may have had, it's probably moreso related to my anxiety around this process than CARS' care, they're very, very good.
