    Wait times where minimal, I think by the time we got to the office and checked in we waited maybe 5 minutes.

    They are great at what they do and are a great teaching hospital. However, I never see the same person. No one ever recognizes you. You feel like a number rather than a person. As long as your bill is paid, they couldn't care less about you.

    I had my first visit on February 22, I was so pleased with how quick & professional everyone was. I was pleased with the information I received & how I was involved with my own care! Highly recommend this facility!

    My has been and I could not be more pleased with the care we received in Iowa city. They discovered an underlying issue which had prevented previous IVF cycles at another clinic from being successful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone without hesitation!

    They were amazing from my first inquiry to be seen to following up after my due date and congratulating me on our birth. They explained everything in detail, risks and success and failure rates. They were simply amazing.

    This is a world class clinic. The doctors and nurses here really know what they're doing and you will be in good hands. The team really wants to do what's best for the patients and they completely exceeded all of my expectations.

    This is a large clinic so it can feel a bit impersonal, but the payoff is that they are great at what they do. My husband had to have a TESE surgery through Urology to harvest sperm and the two departments communicated very well. They paid close attention to how I responded to stims and we were very successful (and avoided OHSS) at egg retrieval and fertilization. When I had problems with getting a medication in time from my mail-order pharmacy, they arranged for me to pick up the prescription at the hospital pharmacy instead. When the fresh cycle failed, they changed my progesterone and estrogen doses and we were then successful with the first FET. Billing through insurance and their patient care portal has been as painless as it can be. :) We are planning on going back for when we're ready for a second child. I didn't see Dr. Van Voorhis every time--since it's a large clinic, sometimes I saw another doctor or a PA. Dr. Van Voorhis is a bit formal and remote, but very nice and very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and was never impatient. He performed the egg retrieval and had a good bedside manner.
