    Front desk staff, nurses and sonographers are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes, the wait to be seen seemed excessive, though. In regards to communication, at times it was difficult to get a quick response/answer to important questions. The nurse initially assigned to our case failed to respond to phone calls or emails within the allotted time frame, so we switched to a different nurse, who was better at responding (although still delayed at times). At times there seemed to be a disconnect between our primary physician, nurse and other members of the team. The few times we were able to meet with our primary physician we were very happy. She was thorough and clear with her explanations. The one major complaint was when we were trying to decide what options we wanted for our IVF treatment (fresh vs frozen; ICSI; PGS), she failed to explain to us that opting for PGS mandated that we also had to have ICSI; it wasn't until we were meeting w/ the financial advisor that we were told that we had to have both (originally we wanted PGS w/o ICSI); and then only had 5 minutes to make a final decision as to how we wanted to proceed once we were given all the information.

    I love the staff here. They are all very kind and friendly. This facility will open its doors a little early so you can sign in and not wait in the hall. The ladies who draw your blood take their time. They want to get to know you personally. Once I was overwhelmed and filled with hormones i broke down, when i looked up it was a team surrounding me, letting me know that all will be alright. My only wish is: I would like to actually see my specialist more, other than that i would recommend this facility.

    I can’t say enough good things about this office! They are warm and friendly and genuine while maintaining professionalism. They make it easy for you to talk to them, any of them, and are always completely understanding - even when you bug them with that you think may be “stupid” questions. They are no-nonsense in that they are always open and honest about where things stand and what your options are - I’ve never been pressured into a more expensive treatment option or anything I didn’t feel comfortable with. They make it easy to ask questions and are excellent with communication of results, etc. They just have this way of making a very stressful, uncomfortable, difficult situation totally bearable. They minimize any potential for embarrassment or confusion. The office is clinical but very spa-like. From the office to the staff to the providers, this clinic is just fantastic all-around!

    Fantastic nurses. Amazing staff. We did our monitoring in FXBG and Woodbridge. Our transfers were Rockville. Successful transfers in 16 and currently expecting from FET in November.

    Overall the clinic was great and ran smoothly and efficiently for routine tasks like blood work, ultrasounds, and regular appointments. I had trouble getting my nurse to respond sometimes and also working with them and my insurance company to get the paperwork for bigger treatments like IVF to the proper place in a timely matter pretty much never happened. But I loved my doctor and felt well taken care of by her.

    Great clinic. They see so many patients so they know what they’re doing, they do it well and they’re extremely organized. I always felt so safe if in their OR rooms for IVF and their FET transfer teams are wonderful.

    The wait to start is sometimes discouraging, you have to be prepared everything works with your cycle. Some of the lab nurses sometimes are not friendly. Front desk staff is amazing though along with Dr. Doyle and his nursing staff!

    Feels like being on A conveyor belt. There is one direction to go and you will be forced to follow that script. I was told that IUI was my only choice and I better get on it because I’m already 29 and I’m running out of time. They encouraged me NOT to get my under active thyroid under control before starting IUI. I left them, did my own research and got pregnant naturally.

    It's been a long journey, and hard to be overly positive about the process due to the cost, years of trying, and multiple miscarriages. While My Doctor has excellent bedside manner, she never once conducted any of my retrievals, transfers or D&Cs.;

    Some of the nurses were great but were some were rude. It's not an issue expecting a conversation but just exchanging pleasantries without rolling your eyes would be great/just don't roll your eyes at all :) Everything else about this clinic was fantastic! Nice Doctors, Generally nice Nurses, Nice Embryologists! We always heard from them, answered all our questions and we got our BFP :)

    A lot of testing, which may have been unnecessary. Doctor was knowledgeable and kind. Nurses were ok. Tough bc nurses will make or break your experience and for me they didn't make it any easier.

    The Annandale office of SGF was fantastic - I felt like the nurses were all very good and the ultrasound techs were amazing. Pretty quick wait times most of the time - I was frequently in and out for monitoring in under 15 minutes.

    Not very specialized care, seems like they do the same protocol for most people even with unexplained infertility. They were not open to doing further testing even though no cause was found. They seems to just want us to pay for the standard IUIs and then move on to IVF without really knowing if it will work. I believe I have minor immune issues that would impact implantation, but they didn't believe in during further testing because those tests are generally for multiple pregnancy losses, but since I had never had a positive or loss they didn't even consider requesting more test.

    SGF knows what they are doing. They are a smooth operating machine, and the best of the best. Having an assigned nurse coordinator keeps you from feeling lost among all of their patients, and I have always received emails and return phone calls, no matter how frequent they may be!

    We could not be happier with the service we received at Shady Grove. Dr. Malik was excellent at explaining everything to us and answering all our questions completely. Care coordination and communication with the nurses was seamless, and they were very responsive to phone calls. I never had to wait more than 15 minutes at my appointments. We highly recommend this practice.

    We loved Dr Esposito; however, we were appalled that IVF with ICSI and Pre Genetic Determination was the "Plan of Care" BEFORE we were even examined or test results were received! It gave us the feeling that we were nothing more than $$$$ to this practice and that they were capitalizing on people's desperation to have a baby. Having had a baby at age 19, placing her for adoption and then struggling to conceive, this was difficult to comprehend for me. It's not for everyone and that's okay.

    Dr Kate Devine and staff are terrific. The nurses respond quickly with questions. We never once felt pressured to do something we didn't want to do. We decided to go with IUI, crossing our fingers!!

    SGF has many clinics in the area so we chose the one that was closest to our home. The nurses were fantastic as well as the receptionists, and overall we had a good experience. You have the option of a payment plan, and they also had a military discount. The good thing about SGF's many locations is that if I needed to come in for monitoring on a work day, I could make the appt at the most convenient location for me, not necessarily our "home" location.

    This is a very good clinic with great doctors and nurses. The wait times are sometimes long due to the number of patients they work with on a daily basis. Probably one of the top fertility clinics in the nation.

    I had a great team at Shady Grove. My doctor and nurse were wonderful, and my nurse answered all my questions, no matter how repetitive, as if it was my first time asking. As a sane sex couple, we felt comfortable with the entire team, and would happily use them again.

    All of the nurses and doctors and ultrasound techs were wonderful- very supportive and helpful. There are a lot of patients and I think this helps them know what to recommend. I always took the earliest appointments to avoid longer wait times. They are fast at 7am but get backed up later in the morning. Overall they have helped me make 2 beautiful and healthy babies, so I can only thank them.

    I absolutely loved our clinic! No only was everyone professional but we were always made to feel comfortable by the doctors, nurses and staff. Jen is absolutely fabulous to reach out to about anything and everything. Dr. Browne's confidence in her personalized game plan for us as well as her gentle touch (didn't even realize she had started my procedure when she said 'all done!) left my husband and I over the moon when we got our BFP with our 1st IUI (preformed at the beginning of our DC blizzard). After 2 years of unsuccessfully ttc due to PCOS, it took Dr. Browne just 1 cycle of IUI to make my dreams come true of becoming a mommy. Emma Snow will be 6 months old this Thursday and my husband and I owe it all to the wonderful team at SG. Never did it feel like a 'business' but a welcoming and positive environment that I would recommend anyone to.

    This clinic is very friendly and accommodating. It was my first time going to a clinic and I was very nervous. I was have having trouble conceiving and it had been over a year.     Great experience - they open at 7 am for blood tests and ultra sounds, making it easy to go before work. They have 2 semi-local offices open at the weekends for scans and inseminations (IUIs), again making it easy to work around work hours.

    The nurses who take your blood are very, very skilled. The doctors and text who do the ultrasounds are great. Some doctors are better than others, but overall my experience at the clinic has been really good. My doctor at the inner Harbor clinic is especially wonderful. Even though I have not been successful in achieving pregnancy, I feel like They are doing everything they can.

    I have been a patient at SGFC since 2013 and have been through four cycles of IVF, one fresh and three frozen, and now have a beautiful 2 year old son named Eli! The staff at SGFC are always very responsive and helpful, making sure that patients understand their protocol thoroughly. I am forever grateful to SGFC for giving me a healthy child and completing our family. We are even in the process of starting again to see if we can give Eli a sibling.

    We first met with the doctor to discuss testing. She explained everything to us so we knew what to expect. We then met with our nurse who was assigned to us where we received more information. Both the doctor and nurse were exceptional. After our testing was completed, we met with our doctor again to discuss the results from the testing her recommended treatment plan. When we began treatment every single person we interacted with from the front desk, techs, nurses, and doctors, was so kind and compassionate. We went through two rounds of treatment before becoming pregnant. It was emotional and stressful, but the staff at Shady Grove Fertility were with us every step of the way guiding us and cheering for us. We were more than just a number...we were people that they truly cared about.

    Get the right doctor, and your experience will be fabulous! We saw several because of the nature of the appointments, but our primary RE went out of his way to allay our concerns and show up for procedures, etc. Also, you have one nurse assigned to your case, and he/she is always in communication with you.

    We loved Shady Grove Frederick location. It felt very personable. No matter what time of the day we had a way to contact a doctor or nurse. We could call or email with any question. We suffered a miscarriage and couldn't of asked for a better dr or staff. They knew how hard this was for a couple who was already suffering with infertility.     Always welcomed by the front desk. Everyone from the medical assistants to phlebotomists to nurses to the doctors were very nice. Wait times for blood draws and ultrasounds were not very long. At Fair Oaks and Annandale the wait time is minimal. At K street in DC, the wait time in the morning was a bit longer than expected especially when you're trying to get to work right after. Patients are assigned a nurse so if you have any questions or concerns you call or email your nurse and expect to hear back from them within 24 hours.

    Great Clinic. I go to Annapolis, MD. Dr. McKee by is the best. I was referred to him by a friend who did IVF with him. I did my first cycle with him and I got pregnant through IVF the very first try with fraternal twins. I will be going back for my next cycle in Dec. 2017.

    While my doctor and main nurse were located in Frederick, I ended up having most of my monitoring and appointments in the Annapolis office (and a couple in Rockville). The staff, nurses, and doctors were friendly and professional at all locations, and readily answered any questions or concerns I had. Allison from Frederick was very helpful and I was happy to have her as my main contact.

    It's a big clinic with a lot of patients, so it can feel a bit like a baby factory. That said, their hours were convenient, my wait time was never unreasonable, and I felt the medical care was excellent. I'm 27 weeks pregnant with an IVF baby from this clinic.

    Overall, I had a great experience because I had a successful outcome, but it took a lot of time and attempts. The staff was very supportive and extremely efficient but since they have a large volume of patients, you do feel like you are on an assembly line. On weekends especially, there were long waits for monitoring.

    Shady Grove was a great provider. Customer service was excellent, with my nurse and doctor accessible whenever I needed. Our insurance coverage was minimal for fertility, so global fees for our IUI cycles and shared risk when we moved on to IVF were helpful with the associated costs (which of course were considerable). They were also willing to help with meds when cycles went unexpectedly long.

    Our financial advisor was so hard to get in touch with, that was our only bad experience. Our nurse was amazing! The staff was really caring and made us feel extremely comfortable especially with us being a same-sex couple. Our doctor really took his time to learn my partners cycle and ovulation in order for us to have an successful pregnancy. Our first two iui cycles were unsuccessful, so our doctor took a different route the third time and now we are 7 months pregnant with a boy. I can't say anymore than, Thank You Shady Grove!

    Although my doctor was Dr.Mcclamrock out of the Harbor east office I used the Bel Air office for my visits! Everyone is incredibly nice/helpful and reassuring! Dr.McClamrock is an awesome doc! Answered all of our questions, and we are currently expecting via or first IUI!!

    Having been to smaller clinic for my first cycle, I have come to really appreciate the conveinence provided by Shady Grove. Yes, it is a factory. But it is a well-run, results-driven factory and once you are in, they take good care of you. My nurse was amazing. Honestly don't know what I would have done without her. And the results speak for themselves!!! Dr. Malik has the best bedside manner. She is kind and considerate but at the same time, knows her stuff. From the beginning, I felt like we were a team. I am so grateful for her.

    They were wonderful. I started there with 100 questions and they set up a treatment plan and schedule. It was a ton of testing and visits, but I felt confident they knew what they were doing. The staff was great and the office was very convenient. I started going to Dr. Timmreck about 2 years before I started actively started IVF. We used a gestational carrier and had to get that set up first. She was extremely sensitive to my situation, and always took a lot of time to answer all of my questions and tell me what the next steps were. She is one of the best doctors ive ever had, and is a huge part of why I liked the clinic.

Our doctor is reasonable, kind, and forth-coming with her delivery of her medical advice. We were pregnant after one IUI cycle, but experienced a miscarriage after leaving their care. Upon our return, we were greeted with excellent advice and perspective on how best to proceed with trying again.

    It was good- and I'm pregnant! I'll be going back after this little one is here, Dr Sagoskin was great. Very helpful, understanding, and I enjoyed working with him!

    It's a big clinic which means it's very busy, but also really efficient. I could always get an appointment when I needed, and my nurse responded to emails within hours. Frank Chang was very matter of fact. My only complaint was that after a very early loss, he didn't seem to know how to handle how upset I was. However, he made up for it in expertise/successful follow up treatment.

    The doctors and nurses were very helpful. Very happy with the clinic. Dr. O'Brian was patient in listening to our questions and answering them. Kept us updated at all levels.

    Nurses and staff are amazing. Doctor is a little quick and does not have a great bedside manner. He is very matter of fact but forgets that many of the things being discussed can be overwhelming and emotional to the patient. Doctor is very matter of fact but lacks bedside manner. Seems to be in it for the numbers and forgets that these things can be emotional for the patient.

    This place knows what it's doing. It's large, so everyone is specialized in their area. The only thing I wanted, but didn't get was a "road map" of here's what happens first, second, third with "average" times for each step. I was so frustrated that this didn't exist and the only response was "Everyone's different." I interacted with Dr. Sagoskin very little, actually, which was fine by me since the nurses were more familiar with my actual treatment and my situation over time.
