Dr. Chuan has been so wonderful. She clearly discusses everything with me and makes sure I understand everything happening. I definitely feel like a person to this clinic, not just another client.

The interactions I had with the Doctor mainly took place either the day of transfer, which lasts about 15-20 minutes, and post failed implantation, which is an hour sit-down discussion. So, by purely weighing the time spent with the doctor, more time is spent during a sad, upsetting, frustrating time then during a happy time. This may skew my overall feelings and opinions. However, I still feel it pertinent to say that I think the Doctor should be more hands on. I'm sure she reviews her patients charts, but it would be nice if she made a phone call or two to let the patients know she did so and that everything from lab work to ultrasounds look good prior to transfer. Also, she told me a couple times that she wanted certain treatments for me that she doesn't typically request for patients, but then when discussing the treatments with her staff, it turns out that these treatments are the new normal and everyone is getting them done. Makes me wonder if these treatments are really helpful or just a money maker for her before vacations. Kind of likely how some people work overtime to save for a vacation, but since there's no overtime she just adds a few more treatments for patients. Hate to be so suspicious but there is a lot of medical fraud out there. Bottom line. Don't tell your patients one thing when it's really something else because it's easy to find out when you're not being honest.

Dr. Chuan from the very beginning felt invested into our journey and was available whenever we needed her! She has great bedside manner and made you feel like you weren't just another patient. She has an OB/GYN background and is extrememly smart and I would recommend her to anyone!
