I came to him with a broken heart. I had been trying for 9 years and had 8 miscarriages. He knew without reading my records what was wrong. He had a plan to address my natural killer cells and DQ Aloha genotype issue. I needed to do IVF and along with IVF needed to have interlipids infusions to keep my body from attacking the baby. I did the infusions every two weeks till week 24. My first go with IVF all my eggs died but one. We implanted the egg but it was a chemical pregnancy. Dr. Sher realized he should of given me a different protocol of drugs and did my next round for free on him for his mistake! The next round I was put on the lowest dose of drugs and ended up with 7 grade 1 embryos and we implanted one. My miracle boy was born November 21st 2013. Ten years and 9 miscarriages later I had my miracle boy! With my auto immune issue it makes it even harder to conceive with IVF but it is the only way for us. We tried again with dr. Sher using FET and the first transfer my egg was a match to my issue and I miscarried at 6 weeks. Our second attempt there was an chromosomal problem with the egg and I lost the baby at 9 weeks. Our third try worked and we just recently had our miracle baby girl in June! I couldn't have done it with out Dr. Sher. I always thought if I got to the point where I had to do IVF I would stop. He helped me through it and his loving staff!! I'm a mom because of him and the grace of God. One last thing about him. He is humble and gentle. He doesn't take credit for bringing in thousands of babies into the world. He says, "I only help make the process possible and then I leave the rest up to God!" I loved that so nuch about him.
