I went there a few years ago to see her. My first appt with her I liked her. Every other time I got turned off more and more until I stopped going. My last appt I went in for a follow and sono after my hsg test. I had been in pain turns out from a cyst. I went in and told her and said my obgyn said to check the size because it was probably shrinking. The second she heard this she was no longer interested in processing because we couldn't do anything until that went away. I had to practically beg her to do the sono. I'm already there half naked in stirrups. It takes less then a minute. I was so annoyed it was the last time I went there.

I was treated terribly at Northshore LIJ Center for Human Reproduction. Dr. Mary Rausch is the worst doctor I have ever been to. She comes off as concerned and nice, but she forgets who you are the second you leave the office. She did nothing for me after 3 visits and multiple blood work and sonograms. Told me to lose weight and come back and then come back again and more excuses. I have PCOS since I was 18, have had polyps in the past, and I'm overweight and unable to get pregnant. I went in telling her that. She likes to wrack up your medical bills and does nothing to help. Told me I had a cyst and would prescribe provera, never did. After all my visits the only thing she told me was you should lose 10 lbs and you have PCOS. Um yeah, I knew that already. And she is supposedly a PCOS expert, I highly doubt that. I lost 6 pounds, then she told me to lose 10 more. She took a sonogram, said I have a cyst, but lets monitor it in case its my period coming. Tells me on another visit you have a cyst, I said yeah u told me that last time. She said oh its gotten bigger this could be bad, go take another sonogram at another office for no reason at all. I go to another doctor, take the sonogram and he is asking me why she sent me to him lmao It was such a joke. I stopped visiting and won't be back. The wait was so long to see her, then she has no idea who you are and will tell u the same exact script she told you on the last visit. Never told me what all the blood work revealed, except I have PCOS (duh!). For your own sanity, please see someone else.
