This is the only antibiotic that works well for me. I'm allergic to penicillins and erythromycins (which is what they give to people who are allergic to penicillins). While this is synthetic and can be used for SO many things, this is the only thing that works when I get sick or have a uterine flare up from PID. It does make your skin sensitive to light and you should take yogurt with it (like all antibiotics) to keep the good bacteria up

This gives you constant yeast infections. I refuse to take it again (took it for back to back embryo banking egg retrieval and then my failed FET).

This really helped with my acne but gave me frequent yeast infections.

These pills are given to the male partner during the wife's stimulation cycle. This antibiotic is given
orally and is used to reduce the low levels of bacteria that may be found in the semen (even in men
without symptoms or any other evidence of infection) and which may compromise the performance
of the sperm during an IVF cycle. It is also given to the female partner to reduce the risk of infection
following aspiration of the follicles at the time of egg retrieval.
