My mom used this and on her second cycle on it, she conceived me (1986). It was known as "Pergonal" back in the day, but since the 80s it's been reformulated. She said Clomid didn't do anything and she wonders why it's still prescribed.

I had Gonal f very effective had 2 mature folicals. With 4 others.

I guess that's why everything isn't for everyone. I used Gonal F and I only had 1 follicle progress over 18mm the others were a little behind. The stimulation wasn't the best for me it resulted in 4 retrieved 3 matured 1 fertilized. I'm 33 no know fertility issues, male factor issues. I can say it's easy to use and no pain. I had a really weird cycle I was suppressed for 3 months as well.

My first full treatment cycle we paired Letrazole with Gonal, and neither did anything for me at all. I only had one mature follicle (which I was basically doing on my own, only later in the cycle). However, we believe the trigger shot they gave me forced ovulation which wasn't happening for me before, and I was able to get pregnant on this cycle because of the trigger shot. The Letrazole was much milder than Clomid, and I barely had side effects. I had no side effects from Gonal other than some bloating, and the injection did not hurt at all.

Very easy to measure and use. The negative is that it has to be injected into your subcutaneous tissue in your stomach.

I did not have any negative effects on any of my medication. I did however almost become over stimulated and have to lower my dose, which my doctor did.

It comes in a very easy to use dosing pen and I didn't really notice any side effects personally.

It worked for me. Besides the obvious bloating and soreness from my ovaries being so enlarged (which you will probably get with any medication like this), I didn't have any side effects.

Tried Clomid with no luck but this worked for me. 11 wks and 3 days after first round.
