Good ol’ CLOMID!! Tried to conceive w/my husband for 2 years after our first born. I don’t ovulate regularly and it wasn’t happening. 1 round of Clomid and a set of fraternal boy/girl twins later, we went from a family of 3 to 5 overnight! 🤗

I was put on provera to induce AF die to pcos hadn't had a period for 7 months be4 that...once period started after last pill I was put on Clomid the 3rd day of my cycle ..I was giving instructions on when to baby dance started dancing be4 the days I was told to on the days and after I go back to the doctors onon my 21st cycle day for testing to see if I ovulated or at least pregnant been trying for over a year I got my fingers crossed and accepting all the baby dust I hope this medication works now it's jus my TWW..praying for a miracle on my first round of Clomid..I'll keep you posted 5 more days left in this month

I got pregnant my first round and have a beautiful baby girl to show for it. It doesn’t always work for everyone, and it may take a coup tries but I highly recommend it.

Make Sure Your Doctors Are Checking Your Ovaries for cyst, Thyroid Glands it could be over or under active , Sugar Levels To Make sure you are not diabetic , make sure they do an ultrasound for endometriosis and other problems in the uterus or ovaries. Talk to doctors who care and want to help you don’t waste your time and money on doctors who could care less if you get your baby or not 💕

my doctor prescribed Clomid for me. Told me to take it day 3 of my cycle all the way to say 7. I had no idea that I would ovulate while still on my period. I thought it was supposed to help after the period. to prepare me. needless to say I missed my window and now we wont have insurance do I dont know how I can do it. I am so sad.

I have been on a Clomid trial for 6 months now (the final month) and so far the only thing it has done for me is make me extremely volatile and anxious. I know it has worked for other women but in my case it was a waste of time and still no pregnancy.

I got my results back and my amh is .55 I am 35 yo. I git preg in Jan 2018 but miscarried. My doc put me on clomid This is my 1st round so we will see. I go see the specialist July 18 to do further testing and see what my options are. My question is. Has anyone been around 35 years old. Has gotten preg in the past. Has a low amh and still got preg from just clomid? Sorry last post had cray typo

Started Clomiphene Citrate 50mg and Estradiol 2mg March 2018. Currently just finished my 4th cycle. Haven’t seen my period yet for June. I took 3 First Response Pregnancy Test they all was negative. I go to the doctor 6/22 hoping for a lot of baby dust.

First cycle of clomid! I started it the 3rd day of my period! I ended up taking and ovulation test yesterday 5-17 which was the 13tb day of my cycle and had a LH surge! I have been trying for 8 months to conceive with no luck! Will update our status!

Tried for a year to get pregnant, thought it was impossible because I only have one ovary. Doctor put me on clomid 50 mg for 3 months no luck, then 100 mg, and first try on the 100 mg I got pregnant. Don’t give up it can happen for anyone.

I took it for 3 months, I had horrible cramps, longer painful periods, I gained 15 Lbs and I had a 44 day long period. (I scheduled an appointment but they rescheduled at new obgyn I had to new town I moved to.) ended up in the ER got prescribed10 days of provera to stop the bleeding, I accidentally turned off my alarm on one of the days and forgot to take it, well by the next day before my alarm went off I had started spotting again I have a day left of provera...

Got on 50mg clomid last month and didn't work. Because my doc said my body responded to It well last month, she kept my dose to 50mg this month with the trigger shot. had to good mature follicles one 2.0 cm and other 1.9 cm. It still ain't work.

Tried for 18months and got prescribed 50mg (also used Preseed) and that month got my BFP. July 7th I welcomed my baby boy. I just got prescribed it again and start it tomorrow.

Dr. Prescribed clomid for husband to stimulate natural testosterone production and and thereby improve mobility and quantity of sperm after test came back with extremely low count. Worked within a few months. (Probably would’ve worked sooner if he took it on a regular basis!) it is not covered by insurance for use in men. Our “baby” is now 2.

I took Clomid one cycle and was pregnant the very next month. Unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage/ectopic pregnancy. But Clomid definitely helped with my ovulation which I had been struggling with on my own. Will try again in the near future hopefully with much better results

I did 2 rounds of clomid + trigger shot (ovidrel) it didn’t work for me. Then went to Mexico for vacation and the doctor said she couldn’t treat me for 6 months due to zika but I never went back. TtC naturally now on cycle #3 if I don’t get pregnant by cycle #6 I’ll try clomid again.

I had took my first dose of the generic brand for Clomid on my 2nd day of my cycle. How many women can tell me if the generic for Clomid works as good? i took Clomid for 3 rounds. started off with 50mg, then 100mg, and that 3rd round 150mg.. my doctor told me that you have to give it a chance to get into your body.. that 3rd round I got pregnant.. unfortunately it ended in a MC but I am starting back again this round. and I only did Clomid and use Pre seed lubricant..

Clomid certainly serves a purpose (though I haven't gotten pregnant yet). I've taken this through 3 IUI cycles, a cancelled cycle, and an ER. I have a history of anxiety, but in recent years it's been well controlled (despite infertility stuff). It comes back when I'm on this drug.

I took clomid this month; it gave me mood swings and a horrible constant headache, at the point of waking me up in the middle of the night. I went to get an ultrasound today to see how many (if any) mature eggs I have. So far, 2 on the left (8 and 10 mm) and one on the right (15 mm) not big enough to be fertilized. I need to test my ovulation every day. If I don't surge on my own in 3 days, I have to get a trigger shot. Wish me luck ladies!

I truly thought I would become pregnant after taking clomid because I know so many people who got pregnant the first time... I took clomid for 4 months and haven't been pregnant, however it did make me ovulate early and my cycle became really regular. My husband and I took off this month.

Alone it wasn't very effective, but combined with Femara and Ovidrel, it worked for my IUI. I didn't have any negative effects from any of the medications.

Clomid had a reverse effect on me. It didn't stimulate follicle production and/or growth, and it thinned out my uterine wall! Even if we were able to release an egg, it wouldn't stick!

We tried this medication is different doses. The lowest dose didn't work well for me and when we doubled it it came with lots of side effects. What ended up working was letrozol and a trigger shot.

The meds made me soo sensitive and moody! I went through phases of being constantly horny to not wanting to be touched (don't even hold my hand!!!) because everything was just too much. My regular periods became shorter and eventually almost non existent. The Dr gave me a mild dose to begin with, then upped the dose. I got pregnant after the third and last dosage increase, right before we were going to switch meds and try something else.

I really didn't have any negative side effects from the medication. It seemed to work pretty effectively in conjunction with the trigger shot and progesterone that I was taking. It took a few cycles of doing a different combo of the medications before it worked, but it was all worth it!

Clomid did nothing but cause my ovaries to increase in size to about 3 times their normal size. The combo of Gonal-F and Ovidrel did not work but the combo of Gonal-F and Lupron worked for us.

It was effective for my case. They have you test with home ovulation tests and once a postive is read you come in for an ultrasound to check for number of eggs ready. Side effects for me were hot flashes and some moodiness.

I got some "Clomid headaches" and occasional night hot flashes, but overall did not have significant side effects. It effectively grew my eggs, but I needed Ovidrel to get the eggs to release.

The medication seems to work, only have done two cycles and take a hpt tomorrow. Bad side effects such as headaches and moodiness, but next round I took at night time and didn't feel the side effects as much.

Clomid and I did not work well together. Femera and I do work well together, but haven't had a pregnancy yet. Ovidril (trigger shot) does the job, and prometrium also does the job.

For my last IUI cycle, I took Chlomid and also had to give myself 3 shots on on the three days following the Chlomid. I can't remember what the medicine was called that I had to give myself shots of, but it seems the mixture of the two was more effective than just the Chlomid itself (which I took alone for my first cycle). When I went in for my second ultrasound after taking both, I had 4 large follicles, where I only had 1 with Chlomid alone. Neither of the medications gave me much as far as side effects; I was a little more moody than usual, but nothing too bad.

On my 6th round of clomid currently alongside Metformin. Did 4 rounds of clomid which didn't induce ovulation, had ovarian drilling then clomid worked like a dream, I finally ovulated and became pregnant in December 2016 on the first cycle after the op, unfortunately that ended in miscarriage.

Currently on 5th round of Clomid at 150mg. 100mg for the first 2 rounds. I'm pleased with the product because I have responded well on it. I have unexplained infertility, ovulate regularly and regular cycles but Clomid has helped produce 2 mature follicles each round. The worst side effects I experienced were hot flashes and more recently insomnia.

I did 4 rounds. The first one I mucked up when it came to the times when we should be doing the deed😬. Round one and two were one tablet, we increased to 2 tablets per day on round 3 and 4. I got bfp on round 2, 3 and 4. Sadly we mc the first and the second was a chemical pregnancy. The next round I took progesterone troches and carries the pregnancy to term. I had little to no side effects. I have clomid to thank for my gorgeous DD!

I have been through several cycles (around 6 or 7) clomid and have yet to get pregnant. I do have lots of side effects (extreme emotions, hot flashes and lots of headaches) but I finally started ovulating and for the first time in my life I have had nearly normal periods instead of every other week. Also, my flow is more normal as well. I just fired my doctor for various reasons and will be finding a clinic after new years to start back up. Hoping with a better doctor and clinic we will be more successful.

I had very few side effects. I was a bit more emotional than usual, but didn't have any hot flashes or anything. I had a .5 estrogen test twice prior to taking it, and no shot of surging or ovulating. However after 5 days of 100mg, 3 days of waiting, and patiently testing...on the 7th testing day I had a surge (14 days after first pill taken)!

I just this drug and got pregnant first month , lost and continued to take it but very heavy on the hormone and a lot of side effects for me. I would advise you to really think if you need to go on this drug and once you come off it messes your periods up.
