I give Lupron 2 stars, only because it did help with my chronic daily pain with endo. But the side effects I had to deal with to get rid of the pain was not worth it, and were just as bad as the daily pain. After I was off Lupron, my cramps and pain came back ten times worse than before I was on it, and I still have migraines to this day (it's been 3 years since my last injection) and took almost a year for my hormones to regulate themselves.

While Lupron helped my Endometriosis pains, they came back 6 months after my surgery (3 months after shots). It also gave me bad side effects and took nearly 2 years to get my hormones back in line.

Lupron was effective in prepping you for the other medication needed. The positive was the needle used to inject. It is very small and you barely feel it. The negative was headaches, which go away after taking it for a few days.

It achieved its intended effect, though working with injectables is never pleasant.

This medication physically made things better but emotionally tore me a part. My 1st injection was a breeze but a day or so after my second injection I lost it. Crying spells, fear and anger. It didn't help that I also deal with major depressive order and anxiety. My Dr. knew this and still prescribed the medication. NEVER AGAIN!!! 0 STARS

Terrible bloating and mood, but it helped us achieve a BFP.

I've had my third shot and have been having mixed results. At first, I felt great but after second shot, experienced a lot of joint pain and hot flashes.

Important Information
An agonist that inhibits your pituitary's production of FSH and LH. This medication is taken as an injection just beneath the skin. This allows some of the other medications to provide a very even and balanced stimulation to the developing follicles. Lupron will allow patients to produce greater numbers of higher quality eggs during a given treatment cycle. Additionally, it prevents a spontaneous mid-cycle hormonal surge which may result in cycle cancellation.
Typical use
IVF
