is it normal?

So here's the thing, my newborn is 4 weeks today. He had started on formula when he was born and once he was able to latch on his own I started breastfeeding him as well. So he's feeding on both. But lately he doesn't want to formula feed and only wants my breast. The thing is I don't know how much I am producing so I think he's not getting enough since he stays on my nipple varies from 30 mins to an hour. Plus he has not pooped for 2 days. New mommy here so I'm a little worried.

Talk to a doctor about the pooping, but he could just be constipated from the switch. As for milk production newborns generally feed for that long and he has to get used to drawing the milk out of you since the bottles are easier. Once you get the poop figured out you'll know if he's eating enough by his diaper production. Check with your doctor on the numbers but he should have a certain number of wet and dirty diapers a day

Breastfed baby's don't always poop often, and it's perfectly fine. How long a feeding lasts isn't a great indicator of supply. As baby becomes more efficient, feedings will last less time.
