What date would you follow?

Ok so when I first found out I was pregnant I went to my doctor to confirm an what not he asked my last menstrual cycle date an everything, now I'm gunna be honest I've never fully tracked my days so I gave him an estimate date an told him I wasn't 100% sure so he gave me my due date based off that which was April 27th. When I had my ultrasound done they told me my due date was April 19th  based on how baby was growing an everything. Doctor said he doesn't really change dates though. How would you ladies take this and which date would you follow?

I'd go off the ultrasound date especially if you were not sure of when your last period was. Was the ultrasound done in the first trimester? First trimester ultrasounds are the most accurate for dating, after that babies start growing a little differently, some a little bigger and some a little smaller.

U go by the date ur doctor tells u. It's (like u said) based on mesurements and growth. By far the most acurate.

I'd personally go with the ultrasound date. I think it's more accurate, although if you knew the first day of your last person I'd go with that first due date. But dates change all the time.. I was measuring at 19 weeks when I was 17 weeks and my doctor kept my date the same. I think it just depends. The baby will come when baby is ready!

I'm surprised they are using the due date from just LMP. Usually they measure the baby early on for the due date. Like me, the cycle we got pregnant it was 60 days long so they couldn't go off of LMP, they had to go off the ultrasound measurement.

I'd go off the ultrasound, especially since your not sure when you last period was.EDD isn't too important though, the baby will come whenever it's ready and most babies are not born on thier due date.

I knew exact date of conception without a single doubt, and doc said I wasn't that far along. You can ovulate late, so even though may 4th is when the "lucky deposit" was made, I don't get pregnant till may 6,7,8th or so. So I'd always go by docs measurements.
