Does one have a moral obligation to take care of one's health?

I saw this idea in a body positivity article. Do you think individuals have an obligation to take care of their body? E.g. Not smoke, stay a healthy weight, not drink etc?

Yes because it isn't just about you. You live in a society where actions have a reaction.

No because if I want to drink/smoke in my free time away from my kids, I'm going to. 
If I want to eat ramen noodles for dinner, I'm going to.

If you can't take care of your kids because of your lifestyle, THATS when the problem occurs. But in no way am I obligated to eat healthy 24/7 never drink, never smoke just because society.

Hmmm I'm not sure if I'd say anyone has a moral obligation to do so. Is taking care of yourself a good thing? Of course. Good question.

Yes and no. I think people should try to do their best most of the time, but I wouldn't expect perfection.

What I smoke is not only to keep me healthy. But also other healthy. Lol if I don't smoke my weed im liable to snap and knock someone out lol. I smoke for all of us😂😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️😎

In my opinion the healthier we are as a society the more we will prosper. Healthy minds, healthy bodies, healthy relationships, all of that is important.

I don't think it's an obligation. But it does make you feel better, which can lead to increased self esteem and happiness. 
I eat healthy foods, shower regularly, engage in light exercise, and read, BUT I also drink too much coffee, have a few beers here and there, and eat fried food. It's called balance 😂
