How long does your kid get to eat lunch at school?

And are they able to eat enough during that time? My daughter only gets 20 minutes for lunch and she never has time to eat everything. She said she's always so hungry.

That's awful! I would definitely consult the teacher about it and find out why they only have 20 mins. They definitely shouldn't be expected to scarf down their food that fast. Plus how do the kids that go through the lunch line even have time to eat!!??

My son gets 15 minutes he says he is always starving I do not like that I feel like they need to make lunch longer.

30 minutes by law in the state of Florida. check your mandated lunch minutes allowance.

Mine gets an hour! 20 mins seems very short, I would talk to the teacher or principal. Pretty sure there's laws on it in my state also. My high school tried to cut lunch times down and it was a big fight.

I think more schools are going to 20-25 mins max. 
My sons school has morning snack though so he really doesn't need a big lunch as a result. 
Don't pack a large lunch.

That'a how most public schools are now. I would talk with the School Board. It's unfair to the students to not have amble time to finish their lunches.
