Assisted Fertility is wrong ?

We've been ttc and I was telling my Mom about getting trigger shots to force my body to release a egg, since ovulation has been a problem for me. She basically told me that Couples that have a hard time getting pregnant should just allow it to happen. If it doesn't happen God does not want it to happen, No IVF or IUI or clomid or trigger shots should be done. She and some other Christians see as trying to " help " God like Sarah did with Abraham and had Ishmael. Also My Grandmother would say if a woman has complications while pregnant she is not supposed to have children. What do you think ?
