How many times do you have sex in a week

So we are not married but been together almost 9 Years now. We also have 4 little children together. Our oldest is 7 and youngest will be 1 in March. I work as well. Full time. We sometimes get into small arguments because he feels we are not having sex enough. He wants it almost everyday! Where as I’m too tired of just worn out some days I can’t hang. He doesn’t understand because he feels he helps with the kids when we are home. Which he does. But they cling to me more the oldest 3 are boys so they more so come to me for anything. Sometimes they go half the day without eating with dad and wait until I get home to feed them. It’s tiring sometimes and he just doesn’t understand. He wants it too much for me and he says I don’t want sex enough. I say maybe 3 times a week. He says everyday if not every other. What do you guys think?
