Should gambling advertisements be illegal?

Is advertising increasing the likelihood that people will develop gambling addictions or people who already have them to take them further? Should they be taken off tv, online, both or none? Should they not be on prime time or when kids could be watching but be on when these times aren’t. What do you think?

If we're going by that logic we should take down advertisements for alcohol, video games, food, medications, coffee, stores, etc.

Ours has a "Know your limit and stay within it" thing with a hotline at the bottom. Over governing board made it way for lotto ticket ads and stuff like that.

Advertising for any type of addiction alcohol or cigarettes drugs gambling anything that contributes to a bad habit should be illegal there's enough sick people in the world for them to continue to do to promote it and obviously they do promoted more where there's more low-income people horrible

YES gambling (pokies etc) advertisement should be illegal. Gambling should be treated equally to cigarettes!! The are equally as dangerous and toxic.

In the UK we have warnings on gambling adverts with a website where you can get help. We also have those for alcohol adverts, they're legally required. I also think it wouldn't hurt to limit them to after the watershed.

are you aware of how many things are potentially addictive? If you took away advertisements for all of them, there would be advertisements for orthopedic shoes and spring water.
