Do you tell your SO?

Do you tell your SO when someone hits on you? I've been in a relationship where my boyfriend(ex) considered it cheating if I didnt tell him(he was a little psycho though). My boyfriend now would rather me not tell him cause he trust me but he still doesnt want to think about other guys hitting on me lol. Personally, I want to know if my boyfriend got hit on but if he didnt tell me I wouldn't consider it cheating, it's not a big deal to me either way. So what is you and your SO stance? Is there a reason you feel the way you do?
