Eliminating Plus Sized sections from department stores in efforts to present more inclusive.

So recently i came across a discussion about this. I couldnt find any up to date articles to quote on this, or articles that specifically relate to my topic question, so heres a clip out of one from 2016 "plus size is a meaningless term and vrands should start to do away with it"

While i personally support inclusivity, as a "somewhat" plus sized person i have mixed feelings. Since this article has been written the plus sized fashion industry has blossomed out of control (and that's not a bad thing). More brands now have extended sizes, there are more fashionable choices for plus sized people be it in store or online (online mostly).

As i stated b4 i have mixed feelings about this proposition to "do away" plus sized categories. For example when i walk into a retail store and dont see a plus size section i walk out without even looking at a rack because chances are theyre out of stock in my size or simply dont carry it. Being that im in between plus and regular there are some items i can make work but having to rumage through 15 size 7s to find the last extended size is discouraging in and of itself. For me id rather go to a plus size and easily find an appropriate size vs stressing out looking for it. Which brings me back to the topic, as a shopper, would you like to see retail stores do away with plus sized sections, or would u rather them keep them and focus on having up to date items?
