Is it easier to heal after tearing naturally or having them cut you? I read a horror story online doing my birth research about a doctor who “hid” a pair of scissors to cut a woman after she explicitly told them she wanted to tear naturally if she was going to tear at all. Her husband caught it before they cut her and she only tore about a centimeter vs them possibly cutting her more.
