I currently have a 2 month old that will only nap/sleep in my arms with rocking, walking, bouncing and shushing or nursing (only at night) I know I’m creating terrible sleep habits at this point but she’s a newborn and they say your not supposed to let them cry at this age. I’ve tried putting her down “drowsy but awake” and screams bloody murder. She screams even if she is dead asleep and I put her down. I’m exhausted at this point. Has anyone else had a super clingy baby that always needed to be rocked to sleep eventually learn to sleep on their own? We are waiting till she’s 6 months to sleep train her but would love her to learn sooner.
