Ok so I’m 22, the guy I’ve been talking to for months (like 8) is 26. We went on a date last month. He always says how cute I am and he’s like! I love you!!! And marry me. He’s like I just want to kiss your face off. Like idek if he’s being cute or what ugh but I’ve got it bad for him and I don’t know what even to say back because is it weird or cute??

When it’s meant to be it’s meant to be love at first sight does exist I’ve had a few long term relationships but the day I saw my now husband I was in love instantly my heart and souls knew right away he was the one I didn’t understand it then but now I know it was love at first sight I was and still am so crazy about him he is all I ever think about and I know 💯 he feels the same we meet some time mid November 2017 and we have been currently married for 2 months I have a son from a previous relationship who unfortunately has undergone a temporary condition where he wasn’t able to walk we go to therapy three times a week I was living in a studio apartment working a full time job after my son came home from the hospital he moved in to help and allowed me to leave me job to care of my son he works extra hard for our family and we current live in a beautiful 3 bed two story corner lot home with a big yard he has been the best thing to happen to be ( besides being a mom) sometimes a little crazy is what you need iv always said he hit me like lighting I don’t when or why it happened or from witch direction it came but it has been a blessing I’m 24 he’s 26 by the way

My now husband still swears to this day that on our first date he knew he loved me. I still am skeptical as I don’t believe love happens that quickly lol. We had talked for about three weeks prior to that and while I did feel this unusual connection and comfortability with him love was not where my mind was going. I had just come from a bad relationship and wasn’t actually looking for anything serious but there was just something about him I couldn’t help but to want to be around him. However, on our first date he only hugged me goodbye after we sat there talking for over three hours till the restaurant was closing. It wasn’t till the third date that he kissed me. He says he didn’t want to scare me off by being a creep, he is a gentleman. It took a couple months of seeing each other before he told me he loved me and even when I didn’t reciprocate that verbally he stuck around. You said y’all have talked for 8 months prior I do think that is plenty of time to develop feelings for one another however it is a bit much to be saying those things right after meeting for the first time. Unless by talking you mean hanging out and talking I suppose. I don’t know it prob would make me leery too. There is just no reason to rush things if it is going to work it will without having to say those things. You can tell when someone is interested in you and cares by their actions which should always be more important anyways.

Same happened to me and now I realize that guy just needed a rebound. I really wish you the best and hope that’s not the case but sometimes when guys are really nice, like too nice,  it’s a sign of desperation. It’s a sign they need to fill a void usually because of an ex girlfriend they just can’t get over. So they find another girl to finish where they left off but then one day they wake up and realize that you are not the ex-girlfriend. I really hope this isn’t happening to you because it’s the worse. Just ask him about his past and tell him to slow it down a bit. Don’t sleep with him. Get to know him and see if you really could have things in common and a future together.  A relationship is deeper than all the nice things you can say but it’s really easy for us women to get caught up in that.  A man who knows his worth and is ready for a relationship is probably not going to throw out the “L” word carelessly because he understands that’s it’s very serious and meaningful and when he says it to another women he wants it to be meaningful.
