Tips and advise when traveling with a baby?!

We will be going on our first holiday soon... any advice or tips for when traveling with a baby will be very much appreciated! Ps: baby is 11months

I'm not sure if you are flying or driving. We mostly travel by plane. If that's the case with you, I suggest packing extra clothes, onesies, snacks, and a few toys in your carry-on. Make sure to have pumped breast milk in a cooler (or formula if you formula feed). We usually purchase a seat for our daughter because she just seems more comfortable. Also, I suggest a carrier for the airport. It makes maneuvering through the airport so much easier. We do not travel long distances in car, the longest we travel in car is three hours. So I cannot give a lot of advice on that. I guess toys to entertainment is helpful and make sure to have a bag with essentials.

We’ve traveled for hours and weeks with our kids - cars, planes, an RV. We’ve never let them use screens while traveling either. My best advice is to drive during nap times if possible. If not, interact with them - talk, sing songs, etc. Be lenient on pacifier usage as well haha. And be prepared for some moments/times when they’re just melting down and you’ll feel a little batty. It just comes with the territory of traveling with littles.

Lots of snacks... 8 hour drive this past weekend with my 1yr 10m twins it when smooth... travel in the morning I was very scared but had to my mother had surgery today and I needed to be here, traveling back this coming up weekend  it gets really lonely all by myself with the twins!!! Good luck! 🍀

Got a new toy let them have it on the plane.  We let our son pick something out at the store and give it to him on the plane.  
Have a bottle of milk.  Really.  We give it to him at take off he slept most there flight. Worked great.  
I pick flight time that we’re normally nap times which help for us.  He took a nap. Both on the flight there and the one coming home. Thank god. 
When he woke up he got to play with his new toy and a few others we fit in his bag.  
And if you can if a snack in to that is great. My son love these pouches. He had one in his bag. Was not a problem. The only thing is security wanted to test it which we were fine with. So they did and we were all set.  They didn’t even open it which I thought they would. They scanned it. 🤷‍♀️ who know.  Technically

We always drive in the night so she’ll sleep. We went on a trip when she was 3 months and 13 months and it went super smooth. Idk if driving at night is an option for you or not
