Driving anxiety/fear?

This might be a long shot because I've never met anyone else with this issue, but I get very severe anxiety and depersonalisation when driving a car. It doesn't matter where I'm driving, as soon as I'm behind the wheel the fear sets in. One night I even accidentally ran off the road because I was so depersonalised and landed in a farm paddock. It terrified me so much I couldn't speak for hours, but luckily nobody ever found out and my car wasn't too damaged just some scrapes. Even driving to the supermarket gives me so much fear, even just getting my license was the hardest thing. Most people love driving because of the freedom, and I would too if I could feel comfortable and enjoy it but I just always sense that something really terrible is going to happen and I might just die.
