What age did you take the monitor out of your child's room?

We have some time before my tot is old enough but I was just curious what your opinion was on this?

I use them until they die! Lol My oldest had hers until she was 4. I liked it because her room is down the hall so if she was too scared to walk to our room she’d just call for us and I’d hear her. My 2 year old still has hers and will until it dies.

We still have one in our toddler's room and I have zero plans to take it out any time soon. I will honestly probably keep it in there until she's 4 or 5. It's a safety thing.

We have one with a Camera in my 6 year old step sons room! It has helped a lot, actually.

My son is 19 months. I don’t plan to stop using it anytime soon. He still sleeps in a crib and I know once I transition him to a bed I’ll definitely need it then too because I know he will get up and wonder and I’ll be too afraid he will hurt himself. So until he’s old enough to understand to stay in bed it will stay in there.

My first we stopped using it around 2. Now her sister is in there with her we have a camera and will probably keep it until it's not appropriate to have a camera in their room. I use it at night but also when they are back there together playing (fighting) and I can see if it is worth it to me to go back and break it up or just yell at them through the camera. Lol
