I prefer tandem. It’s easier to get through doors/crowds/stores. However when out power walking the side by side ones are more stable. I used a tandem when I watched my twin nieces and it was super easy to move about with, but my neighbor would rave about her side by side BOB stroller for her walks/jogs. I bought the evenflo pivot xpand for my little ones and it has so many different configurations AND I can fit it in my husband’s sedan trunk as well as my crowded SUV trunk.
Which type of double stroller do you prefer?

It’s difficult to see both unless they’re both rear facing or the bottom is rear facing and top forward facing/or carrier. I can lean around and see the bottom that way. The side by side I could see both from the top very easily!

Do you see both children equally well in tandem stroller though? That is my big worry about them. I want to see my kids 😁
Heres my 2 cents, lol. I will have a newborn and my LO will be 2 that same month. I bought a used tandem for this summer and we will be getting a nice side by side for when the kids are older. They will both want to see the views.

I'm in a similar situation. My issue with tandem strollers are that it looks like it's hard to see the older child properly.
