8.5 month old twitching

My son is a happy, healthy baby although he is about to be placed in a cranial band and has been diagnosed with torticollis. He has been hitting all of his milestones on time.

He has been twitching almost since he was maybe 6 months old and at first I thought he was just doing the head movement for fun (it mostly happens when he’s excited or just sitting there doing nothing). And his chin will almost pull up to where it is as close to his neck as possible and his back will straighten up. It usually happens in clusters.

Mama here googled it and it said something about it being spasmodic torticollis. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I just wanted to know if anyone has babies that do something similar at times!

***I will ask his pediatrician in a few weeks when he has his next appointment since everything online said if it was that it’s not dangerous, I just wanted to know if anyone else has a healthy baby that just twitches for fun?
