Baby ceremony help!!

My family was invited to my neighbors Hindu baby celebration for their new born and I am excited to go and they really want us there. However, I have no clue what happens or what to do/wear/bring. I also don't know how to act as a guest as we just recently met them. I want to leave a good impression so any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Edit: I tried asking them however there is a slight language barrier and they didn't quite understand what I was asking.
