Am I wrong for asking for some me time as a full-time stay at home mum?

Every time I ask my daughters dad to have our baby so I can lay down and relax/nap, it’s a huge deal. I your opinion, do you think I’m unreasonable for wanting to have an hour to myself?? (I’m pregnant too so I’m exhausted and in pain a lot)

I voted yes only because im a stay at home mom of a 2 and 1 year old and i have them on a schedule to where i can get rest and naps and showers. But he could be nicer. Maybe tell him your days are hard

Not wrong at all. I’m new to being a stay at home mom but my boyfriend and I have already began to work out a system to give me some time off- once he gets home from work, he gets maybe an hour to do whatever he needs to be ready to take care of the baby (shower, eat, relax a bit) and then I have some time totally to myself to nap, shower, eat, whatever else I need to do to chill. Then we share baby duties for a while until bed.

I know that when my husband DID go to work the usual hours he'd come home and I'd be tired sometimes (I'm a stay at home mom right now) and I understand that he physically does more work but mentally and emotionally I'm EXHAUSTED! They say when your baby sleeps you should sleep but when she sleeps I'm up trying to clean and do laundry or get a shower in. He comes home and plays the "I do more than you I don't know why your tired" card or "you don't do anything all day you stay at home" and honestly its infuriating. If I could trust that my baby would have the attention she needs from my husband I'd ask for some me time too! 🙌😎
