Everything will be ok...?

Question

I really just need to be told that everything will be ok. My son is 4 months. He has a cold, I have a cold and my husband is getting over his cold. We are all exhausted. My husband and I work full time (grandma takes care of my LO while we work). I just have high anxiety about missing work cause I have missed a few days already and just got back from maternity leave in February. I work for a law firm and we are on trial so there is lots of work to be done. I am tired and trying my hardest to be a great mom, wife and employee. My husband is a great dad, huge help but we are just so tired. Someone please tell me it gets better. Sorry I know I am just rambling.

Everything WILL be okay. I am a mom of 3 (10, 2, and 2 months) and I work full time as a project manager which can be very stressful. I leave work at work and do my very best for my girls and my husband. That’s all we can do, our very best. Be gentle on yourself and take some time if you need it. It’s not easy but I promise, it is worth it.

Right there with you.  We nearly went through a whole bottle of children’s ibuprofen since the middle of February with all the sickness my four kids have had.
It gets better...but it will suck for a while longer.
It is really hard to feel balanced being the mom of a young child and working a job with high expectations/long hours.  It isn’t your fault, the system sucks - in the US at least with our crazy short maternity leave.
