Contractions?

I’m 39 weeks pregnant and feel like I’m having period cramps very low like almost at my vagina. Are these contractions? They’re constant.

Early ones by the sound on it, congratulations, baby may be here soon, if its yr 1st can take a while, call up midwife to check for sure :)
