Should I be mad at bf texts about another girl?

My bf gives me access to his phone password, we were laying in bed and I was snooping around on it cuz he doesn’t mind.

Anyways I found these text messages between him and his guy friend where they were both talking about how hot this girl is saying things like, “how does she fit that ass in them jeans”, “everything jiggles when she walks” ect lol.

I’ve been with my bf for almost 3 years and he is amazing, super sympathetic, loving and makes me feel so beautiful. And I felt that this was uncharacteristic for him.

He told me he was just saying those things to get his friend to laugh but I’m not ok with it. First of all you should just never objectify another girl to your friend like that. And second he has a girl friend! I know he knows I wouldn’t have wanted him to say that but he did it anyways.

I told him how he had disappointed me and he apologized and felt really bad but I am still mad.

I just don’t know how to feel, should I still be mad? Should I forgive him? Am I over reacting?
